EPA will be participating in the inaugural virtual public meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Children and Disasters (NACCD or the Committee) on February 17, 2022. This new advisory committee will be sworn to discuss challenges, opportunities, and priorities for national public health and medical preparedness, response and recovery, specific to the needs of children and their families in disasters. EPA is tasked with protecting children’s health from environmental threats.
